Birmingham Art Gallery and Museum

Lesley and I went by train to Birmingham to meet up with Sue our other college friend .
This place brought back many memories of visiting with my Mum as a child . It seemed vast then and actually still does .
It has a wonderful pre - Raphaelite section as well as the Staffordshire Hoard which is stunning .
Birmingham has changed greatly for the better ! New Street Station area was a revelation so much better than the old 1960s Bull Ring .
