We met with family for lunch in Inverness and my husband  was disappointed to find the car parking charges had gone up again. The council seem to do this most summers when the tourists come but of course it is the locals as well who have to pay.. They should be encouraging visitors who support the shops not discourage them.
Our internet is working a bit better today, I still can't download much but it has not cut off so far while writing this.
