Unbelievable day

Home violence has been continuing a long time against this lady. Physical, threatening and mental - all this for decades.

Today she escaped from home. Again. She is our neighbor and this time I saw her on the yard at the moment as she was crying. Today finally she was ready to visit a local nurse with me escorting her.

After a long interview the nurse asked if she would like to go to the safehouse. And she did. Me escorting. We went to the safehouse together and I stayed with her there over the interview. She was mixed up, disoriented... Maybe the situation.

And I called from her mobile to her son. He asked odd questions, nevertheless his mom and dad need his help now and I tried to make him understand that now is the time. Now or never. His mom does not cope anymore and we in the neighborhood have helped a lot already.

I hope he understood.
And will help too.

As I got back home, I visited one of our housing company neighbors, as I know that this violence victim has sometimes been there too, hiding in the neighborhood. This neighborhood "sivilian safehome" lady was so happy that I had succeeded in the task.

After a long visit to safehouse, it was time to pack my things, wash the dishes, pick up my hubby from his gig, water plants in garden... to be able to leave for a holiday early at Saturday morning.
