We're On Our Way

from misery to happiness today... uhuh, uhuh, uhuh, uhuh!

We've never set off before without knowing where we were headed. We know where we need to be on Monday, but in between was up for grabs... well, as long as it was south. So unusually, Mrs C drove all the way while we discussed our options, as we drove through torrential downpours and sun... keep driving until it stops? But just before Tebay, we decided Liverpool, oh for 2 nights in fact. 

I have never been in Liverpool for more than an hour, that I remember. Once we caught a ferry here, across the Mersey to the Isle of Man, and we only made it because the ferry had a bump and was delayed... and we still got on it?

When we arrived tonight, there was just enough time to check in before heading out for dinner. I was struck with how similar the waterfront looks like Dundee although the regeneration here is much advanced. We're looking forward to exploring it tomorrow!
