Not quite what it seems

Only opened a few days ago (on the site of the now departed Imax, by the pier). And look at the state of it. Tiles and plaster falling off already. Not surprising after yesterday’s persistent wind and torrential rain.

Don’t panic. The construction team did a stirling job. This is as intended!

Whether I would have created another mini-golf in Bournemouth, and in this prime location - is another matter. But the punters seem to like it, so who am I to say. Will blip it for you soon - your kids and grandkids will be clamouring to come down.

Off to lunch with friends. One of those non-stop weeks. All good things come together. The scales won’t be happy.
