Spherical Aberrations

The aberration of a spherical lens or mirror in which light rays converge not to a single point but to a series of points, it is most obvious with elements of larger size e.g. dish or bowl. (yesterdays blip). Sorry to be a bit nerdy but I just find it it interesting having fun.
