No Orienteering today so alternative options were investigated. I fancied a trip over the Moors to Saltburn-by-the-Sea and as the forecast was better this morning we got up and were underway before 9am.

The light was best when we arrived and so I took this shot of the cliff railway undergoing checks before it opened. We then took Jet for a romp on the beach. By the time we walked back for a coffee the surfers were making the most of the waves.

Richard thought it was over 50 years since he last visited. I visited an uncle in Marske but don’t remember visiting Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Enjoyed our visit today.
