Bloomin' lovely

Rain. Unremitting heavy rain! All day, and forecast to continue until well in to tomorrow. So gloomy, too.

Neither MrM nor I have been outside the gate today. He's been busy in the workshop, in an attempt to finish a few instruments before Whitby Folk Week. I've spent the day indoors, catching up with some neglected housework - the flat's cleaner than it's been in weeks!

But in the interests of Blip I did paddle out in to the 'yard, for a photo or two of the Japanese anemone that's decided to flower despite the weather.
