... on a happily dry afternoon on Orroland beach, observing terns diving for food and oystercatchers hopping around the coastal rocks. A nice time after another attempt to visit Threave Gardens was drowned in flooded access roads. - The extra is an experiment, everybody interested in stereoscopy is invited to take part in: in my experience it works best when you downsize the double picture to approximately 8 cm on your screen in width, then hold a stiff cardboard of 20 x 20 cm between the middle of the pic and your nose, so that every eye sees one half of the picture only. Now try to merge the images in your brain. With a little luck, a three-dimensional impression might be elicited. Now you can cautiously magnify the picture for some degree.
