Birthday!

The weather app was correct for today. Rain and mizzle all day, though not absolutely pouring, so Annemique, bless her, wasn’t put off. She took Archie out for the day. She'll be off on a Big Adventure soon - Costa Rica!

We had a birthday soirée. Such a pity that one friend was suddenly in Perth (Australia) sooner than expected, another friend was sick, but delivered presents and nibbles, another friend had a circus show to attend and came later. And two folk were driving, so all the more bubbly for us. Which wasn’t such a good thing, on reflection...

I had gone into town yesterday to pick up a couple of pottles of Pret a Manger Bircher Muesli with fruit - we'd tried it while at our BnB and realised how delicious it was - and so I was delighted to be able to offer JR breakfast (pottle) in bed.

You can’t say I don’t spoil her!
