evening all,

Well, we have had a brilliant day.

Loads of friends, loads of goodwill, the great annual Birthday rounders match went off without a hitch despite it being a bit drizzly and more than a bit windy.

Turns out the rounders match is becoming a bit of a local phenomenon, two of the neighbours had enquired about when it was due as they were used to seeing a horde of ill equipped families, once per year, drag themselves up to the old school field with a ragtag bag of gubbins,

 and the lady who owns the old school house next to the school field we play on, came out to offer us the use of the old school rounders  equipment which was a lovely gesture.

A great afternoon, an evening filled with laughter and happy people, and a great weekend all round,  now it's time to let someone else do the entertaining for a bit,

Edinburgh here we come.....
