A helper

I am very short (just under 5'1" at this point in my life) and there are a lot of things I can't do for myself at home.  Having earned everyone's ire by going up a ladder to tighten this fan, I needed someone to change the light bulb for me.  Enter Doug, my wonderful brother-in-law, a tallish person.  He changed the bulb and tied yarn on the pull chains to make it easier to reach them.  He took things down from the closet and put them back for me.  He asked if there was anything else he could do for me.  I am so lucky he married my sister!  And he's great to talk with, too.
