Lunch.

Sadly today I left beautiful wonderful Northumberland and headed for the south once more. I have had a lovely week enjoying the hospitality of my cousin and daughter but all good things must come to an end.

I headed for the Airport just outside Newcastle, returned my hire car an pd headed for the check in. Then the wait began!

I decided to have a proper lunch and of course as I was not driving I had a nice ice cold lager. Mmmmmm. After a gourmet burger I headed for the gate to await boarding and that’s when things slowed down!

After an hour or so we were eventually told that the delay was due to the incoming flight being delayed and missing its slot and then to add more problems to the situation there had been disruptive passengers on board that were met by the police on landing and delayed the whole situation further!

Still I was home by 6pm so not too bad.

Mr Tbay has had a bit of a week of it if I am being honest. He had been dealing with the ongoing unpleasant divorce, and then to make life a little more difficult or wonderful Young Farmers County Organiser has handed in her notice. She will be one very difficult lady to replace. Mr Tbay is currently the Chairman of the federation staff committee and it is to him the responsibility falls to sort out her replacement! This poor man never gets a moments peace!
