Sligachan River

The weather was foul today with almost incessant rain and strong winds so we took it easy before going to Portree to see a Munro Society exhibition about the Munros. It was good and worth a trip; we then decided to go and see the Fairy Pools after a quick drink at the Sligachan, as we figured not too many people would be there. We were correct, but we didn’t get there either, as the stepping stones on a wee side burn were well under water and it didn’t seem safe to go on. The blip is the river at Sligachan as we left the pub.
