The fourteen-year-olds (the little red dots) showed their independence by keeping a good distance to me and helping each other out on our 15K paddle back home. They had even towed each other when one kayak was not tracking so well in the winds and waves we had at the beginning.

Finished the camping return paddle to drizzle, fog, calm waters and winner's feelings.
