Mystery Bollard

An unusual thing to Blip I know. These bollards have popped up all around us and we don't know what they are. They are associated with water stuff, manhole covers and the like. Does anybody know what the bollard-type thing is?

Did a lovely big local walk this morning. Saw:
a butterfly - probably a peacock
two laveteria bushes flowering on a grass verge
long tailed tits
cheeky robins - 'A' fed them
a clump of daisies in flower
Also made a mental note of lots of cans and bottles that we will divert to pick up on Sunday. I say 'we', but after my visit to clinic yesterday I know I'm still not allowed to lift for a while. Still the surgeon was pleased with my progress.
