Trip away

One night in the pub we (blipper Corinthian, husband R plus M & C) “accidentally” booked a night away in Scunthorpe! On arrival we were surprised by the number of retail parks. Yes there are steel works here, but also lots of greenery and lovely parks - one of which could rival The Stray at Harrogate! Had a walk around a nearby lake on The Iron Way and caught a piece of the action watching jet skiers (extras). Although cloudy it was also hot and sunny - bonus. Nice place, nice people, and tomorrow we are off across the Humber Bridge (because we can!), and then doing a tour of Drax Power Station. Thanks to C for sorting the hotel and discounts.
