The Longing ......

This is the only picture I have left for Friday.  I took a whole load of rubbish ones and deleted nearly all of them.  This is Little B looking at Lucy's biscuit.  She was given half a Rich Tea biscuit whilst standing and Little B took it because he thought she was offering it to him (which I think she was!)  She then had to sit with Grandad for the other half.

I wanted to document the results of our vet visit this evening.  We had an appointment at 6 to discuss his itching skin and although the vet said that his anxious behaviour is unlikely (but not impossible I think) to be related to the Apoquel, there is an injection he can have that lasts a month and has no side effects and so we opted for this.  I don't know why we didn't do this before (cost ..... over £100, probably!) because he's so much happier, leaping about and generally looking much more settled.  We are going to try and claim this back from his pet insurance but likely he'll need another next month before the Summer is over.  We had over half an hour to wait to go into see the vet and eventually the electric "candle" was lit signifying the passing of someone's beloved pet ..... a sobering thought :(
