Shaft of Light

My mum 'passed over' at 10.45am this morning with the family around her, losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. It's sad to lose her but she is now out of pain and with my brother Ken and her parents and other relatives.

We took my dad home and spent some time with him. On travelling home through the country lanes the sun was shining through the trees where I took yesterdays photograph. I stopped the car, got out and took the photograph of the shaft of light over the gate.

Here's a film photo I took of mum last year with an old camera I bought in a charity shop. She didn't want to have it taken but I insisted. How glad am I that I did so.
