Going for the record.
Today's shot is mainly as a record for myself. I was given this Phalaenopsis orchid on the second of January this year. It was in full flower. A single flower remains on that spike, which means it has had flowers for at least 222 days on the single spike.
Somebody will have spotted this shot has three flowers and I know at least one is thinking he said there was only one flower. No, it isn't a multiple exposure, unusually a new flower spike has grown while the original still has a flower. More surprising yet is these three aren't on that new spike, they are on a side shoot of the original flower spike.
