Lewis, Isy and Dolly and the dreich view

I was woken early by the chickens roaming around the house, they are free range and decided to visit right outside our window. I rather liked it, it was lovely to see them and we even got to feed them before we left. We met Isy and went for a walk around the old mental health hospital that is now closed, she did her student placements there back when she and Lewis were in university. Parts of it were beautiful and it's a shame they aren't being used, it's much the same everywhere though. There is a really nice woodland walk nearby and we had a good wander round, even in the rain. There is a viewing platform here, you can just about see the loch, but I imagine you get a better view on a less dreich day. We drove along to Ardrishaig for some lunch, we even managed to see a boat coming through lock 3 on the Crinan canal, very cool. Dropped Isy off then headed home, a fab few days away but just too short, another trip soon I think.
