Holding the Lead

William and Basil both behaved superbly when I took them to Meadow Park in East Leake this morning. As you can see, William understood to hold Basil's lead while I was returning Thomas the Trike to the car boot, and Basil understood that he had to stand still.

William likes swings but is not emboldened to try anything else just yet, other than the big children's climbing frame, see extra. Although he had the opportunity to ride his trike around the basketball court, he wasn't interested long enough.

Afterwards, we popped into Bryers coffee shop where I had a latte and William did what he could with a smartie shortcake biscuit, another extra.

Then home to Shepshed to play with Grandad in the conservatory. Duplo, crayoning, games with Grandad, transporter truck with cars and reading Thomas books.

Mummy Meet at Markfield was cancelled today.
