Today's terrible macro is of a wooden artefact which was used for weighing sacks of grain. The hollow wooden vessel (with woodworm) on the end contained sand and was the counterweight. The sack was suspended from the rod and was pivoted with a string somewhere along its length to establish the mass.
Otherwise D is still consumed with her data. E&K G are in Augustow. Poor K is so bored that he is changing light bulbs. Here the dogs are refusing to go outside for longer than two minutes owing to Inclement the Elephant and the Melting Snows who have made a terrible mess in the garden. I braved the outside in my new all-weather pyjamas and hiking slippers to bring some wood in, and otherwise micro-managed the construction of the window seat which is moving forward.
Today's shot is pretty terrible; more of a pig's ear of a pig's ear. White balance!
