Lines
I knew that the loggers would be reappearing tomorrow and the pathway closed so the dogs and I had a last explore of the felled area. In so doing I had a closer inspection of the felled trunks and was interested in this star shape which one trunk was exhibiting. I would be really interested if anyone can explain the reason for this.
The shot that I finally decided to blip is taken from behind the timber stacks looking out toward the distant hills. I had clambered over the fallen pine tree in the foreground and was standing amongst the litter of its broken branches. You can see that various other trees have also been affected by the timber operations and I rather liked all the different angles and lines that they have created.
