A silver day

Back blipped on Tuesday 13th

It is our 25th wedding anniversary and we decided to come up to Aberdeen to the same hotel we had our reception in to stay overnight. We had dinner at a gorgeous restaurant at the mouth of the harbour - the Silver Darling. The food was delicious and the wonderful maitre d on discovering it was our anniversary, didn’t charge for our ore dinner drinks.
The hotel is the Marcliffe at Pitfodels and it’s been as wonderful as I remembered. Our room is huge with a comfortable bed.

The extra is the beautiful jewellery my husband gave me which went really well with the dress I wore to dinner!
