Chariot Racing!

On a friend's recommendation we spent the day at Puy de Fou. It's France's premier amusement park but is all about shows and experiences rather than rides.

Unfortunately for us it threw it down almost all day, to the point where we were too wet and cold to stay any longer! I am pretty sure we missed out on a lot but what we did see was really good. We saw The Secret of the Lance, which had spectacular horsemanship in it, The Round Table which was an engineering feat, The Ballet of the Birds, A Viking attack on a local village and Roman games in an ampitheatre. The Secret of the Lance and the Chariot Racing were my personal favourites.
