Having a rest from hovering

I've only previously seen Hummingbird Hawkmoths in mid-air as they drink nectar with their long proboscises (seems like a strange plural spelling but I checked it!) but this one was found resting on a wall this morning. Which gave me the chance to get some good shots. I suspect today's unfriendly weather wasn't too attractive for it to go about its business.
