Upper Swaledale from the Fleek

A foray to the metropolis of North Allerton today then back home via tortuous routes because of flood damage. The Dale looks beautiful today - with all businesses own and yet trade is very much down as people stay away. This is to our cost as our village pub has been forced to close. Sad for all concerned and yet I am optimistic a solution will be found. Indomitable is the word I would use to describe our community. More news up dates will be available.
