Escaping.....

It's been a few days since i've been any further than a half hours walk from the house....so i headed off, after my morning coffee....into Baddeck! Such a lovely sleepy little village at this time of year...but one can always find a friendly face, either at the Co-op, where i got a new recipe for mac and cheese...using swiss cheese and onions...mmmmm...and then to the library. Had a love visit with Kate and Cora-lee! Also had a brisk walk along the water front, and down to the wharf.... always interesting shapes to be found there!

Now we have a cabin to prepare for some folks arriving this afternoon.

and it is still snowing!!!
