Chocolate cake

It's been a rather long day, after a not great nights sleep.  They are both better now, but this morning was a bit of a struggle, especially with the eldest emtional about ANYTHING.  We got through it - got ourselves out of the house, back for some baking and gardening, which seemed to sort all three of us out.  Looking after two slightly under the weather boys is totally unfun when you've got a touch of what they have and when you're tired. 

But, we had a nice day together, our little gang, lots of cuddles on the sofa and getting through our day.  

I did have to take one work call, which after 45 minutes I had to end, as the youngest was telling me he needed to wash his hands - because he'd been painting on the walls.. (the one that is coming down, thank goodness...). I think that's what you get for trying to multi-task! 

Back to normal routine tomorrow.
