Beth Chatto's garden

took my mum to visit this garden today. We used to visit fairly frequently in the 1980's when it was a lot less commercialised with donations thrown into a bucket at the gate and Beth Chatto often seen weeding the beds. Now there's a team of gardeners , a huge nursery and a very welcome teashop. The garden itself is much as we remembered apart from being a lot more mature in parts. Nursery prices weren't too bad so we did succumb to a few plants each.
