Just a little bit...

Suet.

Not much to say about this basic feeder offering. It's messy to handle, sort of smells, and doesn't look very pretty hanging around your yard...

But.

To a bird :)

To a bird this is one of the most awesome offerings you can present in the Winter. Add some peanut butter to the mix (you can fill the cage around the suet cake with extra crunchy peanut butter) and you have an instant magnetic attraction for almost every bird that visits the yard.

To a bird the messy concoction will provide much needed fat and protein to help them make it through the cold Winter months.

To a bird the magical appearance of such an awesome food source must be like it appears from heaven :)
