Stirling :Wolfcraig

The wolf is one of the symbols of the City of Stirling and this representation of the wolf is on the gates leading to the King's Knott below the Castle. It was a dull day for a walk to the castle via the Back walk, described in a web site I read recently as one of the finest urban walkways in Europe.
