Kamerlengo Fortress

This morning we walked along the prom to the Kamerlengo Fortress which was built about 600 years ago following the Venetian conquest of Trogir.

From the top of the oldest and biggest tower there are the most wonderful views of Trogir and the surrounding landscape.

I think I have seen more 'money machines' in Trogir than any other town I have visited. Credit cards are accepted in very few shops and only the posher eating places. You can pay in Euros or Kuna, just not with plastic!
