Dunster Castle

Since the weather was so changeable today we visited Dunster Castle . I hadn’t been inside there for many years . It was really well presented with lots of fascinating nuggets of information creatively displayed and conveyed . My favourite was in the Dining Room where the then head of the Luttrell Family had all his guests eating a very hot lamb curry with lots of chillis in it whilst he was secretly served an unspicy one so that he could look on quizzically whist his guests coughed and spluttered as they reached for more wine !!!!
