Not very pretty in pink actually

The day of the asthma clinic dawned and off we set in the car.
On the way there, Neve was sick everywhere. Not very pleasant in such a confined space let me tell you.......

A quick 'this is the best clean-up I can do' and in we went. It takes a while.
Wait.
Weigh-in, height taken.
Wait. Am I smelling of sick?
See doctor
Wait
See asthma nurse. I really hope I'm not smelling of sick
An hour later, a trip to the doctors to get Neve's prescription. A stronger preventative inhaler now and a 3 day course of prednisolone steroids.

Which in this house means the ......... 'no way am I taking 6 of those horrible vile tasting tablets and you'll have to cajole, scream, bribe and any other thing you can think of to make me' time!!!
I used to have to wrap her up tight in a big towel, position her head in the corner of the couch and sit on her while trying to hold a syringe and bowl and get it in the corner of her mouth (without her spitting it out all over me) at the same time. She used to end up in tears and so did I.
Not good.

That wee bit older now, she only takes around half an hour to bribe, less screaming and tears (from both of us) and a huge cup of coca cola, something she is not usually allowed. These tablets make her hyper anyways so cola isn't going to make much difference!

She is fine though. Ate all her dinner, eventually took her medicine and is strangely excited to be using an orange inhaler instead of a brown !

And I've only got it all to go through tomorrow again........
