Dr Doolittle?

After late night (03.30 bed) we didn't start out very early. We set off and headed up the old road out of Dornie and up to the view point.

When we got there, there were 3 ponies who thought we might have some interesting food for them. Then these two wild boar headed for us. D thought he could get near them, the rest of us were ready to leave in case they were vicious. But they weren't too keen on the two dogs we had with us so they wandered off.

3 members of our group decided to go into the loch for a new year swim. Rather them than me!

Afterwards everyone came back to our lodge for mulled wine and nibbles.

We saw Gadwell and lots of herons on the loch.
