Took this in the relative cool of the morning at 8:30 a.m. as I walked over to the grocery store and the temps were in the comfortable zone.  My lovely friend S is driving down from Nevada City to stay for a few days.  Now 2:20 p.m. and she sent a text to say that she's at San Rafael and has decided to take the 280 instead of the 101- which is a mess, just for a change - hopefully she'll be arriving in an hour or so... 

90ºF at 2:22 p.m.  ... the high reached 98ºF.  Maybe we'll have a swim in the pool later depending how S is feeling after her drive.
