Total joy

We coaxed them out of the hotel with promises of a market that would be selling knock off designer trainers. Sadly these did not exist and the return bus was some hours hence. We had the most gorgeous gelato, I had pistache and you can see how this totally lifted their mood, especially after a nice walk along the seafront and a nice drink in a beach bar with fabulous views. The bus was late coming to collect us which added to the moaning and complaints. They range between 12 and 15 and I was happily reminded of similar trips when I was those ages. Made me laugh a lot.

Back for a smashing lunch, sea swims and forcing myself to finish the latest Jackson Brodie which I am pleased to see the back of. This did all take some time, because the next thing I have to report is dinner (doesn’t seem v long in the telling since our last meal). Lots of good games and laughing, I have got my proper camera out so I can annoy them further with photo taking.

And tomorrow is a day of rest.
