Varda by Agnes

I am always puzzled why the Macrobert Arts centre chooses to put films like Varda by Agnes, a documentary about her life and work, on in the middle of August- a time guaranteed to have a small audience, especially with the Edinburgh International Festival taking place.
 
We were among eight in tonight’s showing .
 
Pioneering French filmmaker Agnes Varda, who did earlier this year age 90, deserved a larger audience.

 
Delighted to see the Stirling Observer gave coverage today to our chairperson, Inga Bullen, challenging the Scottish Parliament on its decision-making process,democracy  (or lack of it) and planning with regard to Park of Keir.
