50’s ?
The streets in Clifton village were restricted for traffic today for the filming of an Agatha Christie story .
I clicked away intending to blip cars or people reflecting this era.
When I got home looking to find a picture that could have been taken in the 50’s I realised how difficult it must be for film makers to create authentic period films with out leaving a scattering of giveaways. Streetlights, yellow lines, signage, pavements, people...
I’ve cropped this pic to remove the clues and b/w to hide the fluorescent greens and purples on the shopfront windows! Notice also the accidental soft focus on the couple!
I will never comment again on the tractor serviced vineyards in the Gladiator film!
