It can't be?

Last year I photographed a cricket that only had 5 legs.

Tonight I came home and looked out the back doors and saw a green spec on the BBQ cover, closer inspection revealed the little creature. Almost exactly the same place as last years with only 5 legs.

Crickets don't survive winter so what are the chances of finding a 5 legged cricket in the same spot? Think I'll buy a lottery ticket.
