if we insist on a picnic...then make it stunning

A packed lunch was all that we were offering to the kids all week - needs must. A combination of Thai crackers / ham sandwiches / chocolate and warming drinks - were on offer. Luckily the weather was fantastic and the views were stunning.

Afterwards we did take in the Christmas lights of Chamonix and a glass of vin chaud with friends - a lovely Christmas eve indeed.
