Ferns

Mrs K. is keen on growing Ferns.

This is a native Maidenhair Fern grown on a piece of tufa rock from a tiny seedling.
It is rare and endangered and when it is larger will be planted out on a suitable damp cliff face to reinforce the population in the north west.

I tried photographing it under the bell but of course I got a reflection of myself. The inside of the bell has patches of moisture on the surface.
