Another Country

Leaving work I noticed that the blue from the lights on the trees and the yellow from the office buildings behind produced a green shade on the gravel path. The style of the lights here always makes me think of New York's Central Park (as it appears in movies anyway) and now with this 'grass', even more so.

It was a pretty quiet day today; many people are still on leave so, despite the lure of the New Year sales, the wharf is unusually peaceful.
