Moon shot- not!

Aunt update : she had a hip replacement op at 1.30 this afternoon. She was still groggy tonight so didn’t go into town to see her. Suppose she now has something like a week in hospital and several weeks rehab. Due to the nature of her two up two down terrace it’s also likely she will be residential rehab, but that is yet to be determined.

My job today was to do some sorting / errands for her. Managed to bring most of her fresh food home for us to use and everything that could be shoved in her freezer was done. Then it was into town for errands and then back home for chores.

Made the most of what could be the last decent weather for a while and washed, dried and put bedding back on (no better smell than fresh dried bedding) Then two more courgette loaves made and tomatoes picked from the polytunnel, which has taken another bartering in winds today!

Fish and prawn stir fry followed by a blob in front of the TV. A lovely moon was going to be my go to blip but wasn’t happy with the sharpness so it’s my NZ pendant instead
