Leaving this behind

Time to go home.

Part of the deal in using the house, is to wash all the bed linen and towels and remake the beds. This is totally fine with me but we were using 8 beds/mattresses and 16 towels and so the washing dominated my last day. The blue skies and warm sun were very able assistants with my task. :-)

The journey back to Alicante airport though brought some stress. Boy. I can’t even describe it but with Gods help, we all survived and made our flight, partly because it was delayed.

So really, our flight home belongs in tomorrow’s blip as we arrived home at 5.30am with no hope of a decent sleep as A Level results / UCAS emails were due at 7.30am.

What a crazy 24 hours.
