Life as a carer ..

It's been a dreary old day.

A support worker called to talk to mum about going to the Memory Cafe once in a while .. and unsurprisingly mum was very reluctant to agree .. but eventually said she'd give it a try for an hour or so ..

She admits to being very stubborn .. and hates people organising her and telling her what to do .. which is understandable.

However - although I go out as much as I can - it would be good to know she was safe and in company when I went out, rather than home alone.

So .. I have only left the house once today for a trip to the nearest Waitrose - 8.3 miles from home.
