Edinburgh Day 4

Another busy day. We started with a photographic exhibition in New Town. Then we were joined by friend K for a session on Nineteen Eighty Four - you have to write it out in full. Very topical at the moment, you could almost say prescient …. Then two guys who had both wanted to stop the world and get off, and the make it sound easy. In complete contrast our next session was an ex editor of The Guardian, although I thought the audience asked more interesting questions than the interviewer. We finished the day with the ever entertaining Ian Rankin. My blip is of the wonderful display of lampshades where we stopped for dinner.
