Castle

A wee day-trip to Carlisle.

A few days ago I noticed that the weather forecast for Thursday was good, so a plan was formed. Bus into Glasgow, train to Carlisle, a wander around, then train and bus home. And it all worked out perfectly.

Visited the cathedral and castle and had a meander along the river. A couple of coffee stops along the way and home in time for tea.

A good day out.
